Refining my craft as a teacher is a goal I'm always working on. I engage in continuous professional learning experiences offered through my district or in the greater educational community. Attending conferences and reading books have helped me be up-to-date with educational research and best practices (5A-2, 5A-3). In the process of reflecting on my practice and helping students, I reviewed data to inform to help inform our practice (5B-2). Encouraging teachers in a positive way to higher level of performance was crucial in my role as an instructional coach (5C-3).
